So I've ridden to work and back twice now and my bike is deffinently not good for this kind of thing, but its not horrible either and the distance is so short that none of the big imperfections really make too much of a difference. The shifting, for example doesent really work, i can get about three gears mid range but cant get the low or the high and sometimes it skips a gear, the seat is not very comfortable either and the back brake likes to stick. These things aside riding is nice, my legs are getting used to the work and im wearing my motorcycle gloves to beat the cold.

Riding home is always nicer because its 2/3 downhill :)

This is the bike I will be using, its is a Triax Vax3000, I know its not the right bike for this but its the only one I have. A little background on the bike, I bought it from Target brand new when i was 15, its been through 13 states, and even on the Bonneville Salt Flats, if you look at the rear tire you can see some white stuff, that's salt from the salt flats :)



Iv done a few modifications to it, the headlight and tail light being the most noticeable, and I switched the brakes around, the front brake is now the right lever and rear the left. Reason for that is because of my motorcycle, on motorcycles the clutch is always on the left and the front brake always on the right, so I like to keep things the same.

Background

So iv decided to start riding my bicycle to work and back and maybe around to all the places that are not to far from my house, ill post things on here like ride reports from the day, bike maintenance, maybe some vlogs we shall see. this will be in conjunction with my youtube motovloger account so who knows what will happen, all i know is that ill be riding my bicycle to work and back at first :) maybe even doing some adventures, never know.
